Marlon Craft is a rapper that sounds nice over classic, boom-baps, but is at his best over more jazz-inspired beats, oftentimes live instrumentation. Marlon Craft, a native of Hell’s Kitchen, NY, released his debut album, The Tunnel’s End in 2017. The 14-track effort peaks near the middle on “New York Shit/TTE 3” ft. Radamiz. After releasing the EP, A Dollar in Quarters 75c in 2018, he released Funhouse Mirror in 2019. Craft finds his sound on this project, with standout tracks coming from the 2 tracks with the most notable features; “Word to My Mother” featuring Nyck Caution and “Shallow” featuring Dizzy Wright. Craft also uses the track “Gang Shit” to speak out against systemic racism. The album closes with some help from Black Milk on “Still Speakin’.”

Craft returned in 2020 with an EP for the quarantine - Work From Home. The 9-track effort saw heights on “Loved,” “Consequences,” and “Mom’s Whiskey” featuring Kota The friend. In February 2021, Marlon Craft released his second full length project, How We Intended.
