From singing in church as a child to earning 4 Grammy nominations in 2020, New Orleans singer, Lucky Daye aka David Brown is ready to be the next R&B superstar. Lucky Daye signed to RCA's Keep Cool in 2018 which features a roster also including acts like Normani, UMI, and VanJess. He then released his debut album, Painted in 2019 at age 33 with standout tracks including “Real Games,” “Roll Some Mo,” and “Concentrate.”

In 2020, Lucky Daye was featured on the soundtrack for the movie, Photograph with the song, “Fade Away.” He would also be featured on Kehlani's album It Was Good Until It Wasn't, on the song “Can You Blame Me.” “Fade Away” would later be featured on the Painted (Deluxe Edition) along with the remix to “Roll Some Mo” featuring Chronixx and MediSun, “Little More Time” featuring Victoria Monét, “Shoulda” with Babyface, and a live version of the song, “Misunderstood.” In July 2020, Lucky featured on Buddy's “Faces” and Kaytranda's “Look Easy.” In September 2020, Lucky Daye would score a feature on the Spillage Village album, on the track, “Cupid” with Earthgang and 6lack. As for what's to come in the future, Lucky Daye says that he wants to explore his “inner Cobain.”
