Kiana Tenille aka Kiana Ardoin is a singer from New Orleans, LA by way of Houston, TX. Kiana has been singing just about her whole life, beginning at church around the age of 2. Later in adolescence, Kiana became classically trained, and eventually started writing music while in high school. Today, Kiana Tenille describes her sound as “euphoric,” and lists her biggest musical influences as Brandy, Beyoncé, and SZA.
Kiana Tenille released her debut single, “Homesick” in January 2023. Just over 2 minutes long, the track is merely a preview of Kiana’s potential, with a slow melody that will reel you in and leave you wanting more. The song would go on to be the opening track on Kiana’s debut EP, Midair, released in November 2023. The 4-track project sees its height on track 2, “Stay With Me,” a more upbeat track and a catchy chorus that provides perfect symmetry between tracks 1 and 2. The 4 tracks each explore a slightly different vibe, yet form a cohesive 11-minute project. We look forward to seeing what Kiana Tenille does next as she adds to her discography and further explores new sounds.
