Thunderous Knight aka Darrian Hayes describes his sound as “powerful, versatile, and unique, and can light up a whole room once you press play.” Hailing from Long Beach, CA, he currently resides in the Inland Empire in Southern California. He lists his biggest influences as Missy Elliott, Pharrell, Ludacris, OutKast, Kanye West, Lauryn Hill, Snoop Dogg, and Biggie Smalls. Music was in Thunderous Knight’s upbringing, as his mother was a rapper in Long Beach and his stepfather was a singer in Detroit, MI. Still, he did not begin to pursue music until around the age of 17. His parents told him that “music doesn’t hit unless it comes from the heart,” and that is something that he has kept close throughout his musical journey thus far.

Though yet to release a full-length project. Thunderous Knight has dropped off a handful of singles and jumped on a number of features. For singles, be sure to check out the hard-hitting, “Babylon” and the pop-punk, hip-hop fusion track, “Control” featuring DeezyTheSuper. As for features, Thunderous Knight has collaborated heavily with the artists, Bregma and JAHMED, most notably on “Dolemite,” also featuring DeezyTheSuper and Flo, “Juice” along with ICECOLDBISHOP and LoverBoiJo, and “Milk.” Additionally, Thunderous Knight and Bregma’s 2018 single, “Jump,” which was featured in the 2020 Netflix movie, The Lovebirds.

In July 2022, Thunderous Knight released his debut project, NO CALL NO SHOW. The project sees highs on “Flashy” and “Benjamins.” In 2023, Thunderous Knight dropped a few singles and was also prominently featured on the first LA HABRA HOUSE project, notably on the tracks “Thanos” and “Tom Riddle.” Taking no time off, Thunderous Knight kicked off 2024 by dropping the single, “Twist of Fate.” Let’s hope this is a lead single off the next project.
