Mac Ayres provides his fans with music that is a little bit R&B, a little bit jazz, and a little bit funk. The native New Yorker released his debut project, Drive Slow in 2017 at age 20, with standout track, “The Devil’s in the Details” featuring Castelluzzo. He would go on to release new projects in each of the next 2 years, with Something to Feel in 2018 and Juicebox in 2019. On Juicebox, Mac breaks through his glass ceiling, shining brightest on “I Wanna Give Up,” “Jumping Off the Moon,” and “Come Thru” featuring the legendary, 9th Wonder. Ayres says his sound is most influenced by Stevie Wonder, J. Dilla, Michael Jackson, and D’Angelo.

May Ayres returned in 2021 with the 8-track project, Magic 8Ball. The project’s highlights are “Every Time” and “Almost Home.”
